The Dead Zone

My friends in Indiana, Lou and Becki, reminded me tonight of a show we used to watch together: The Dead Zone

It's based on a Stephen King book which is the story of Johnny Smith (Anthony Michael Hall) who gets in an accident and goes into a coma for six years. When he wakes up he finds that his fiance married another man, raised his child as the child of another man, and he now gets psychic visions when he touches people.

We enjoyed it becasue of the Theological implications that are woven throughout some of the story lines. Even when its not "theological" it's still really good. In fact, I would say it's one of the best shows on Television.

By the way, 20 points if you remember some of the movies that Anthony Michael Hall was in as a child.
