The Curt Jester is reporting that Linda Gray Kelly, a Justice of the Peace in Massachusetts has resigned her position rather than violate her conscience by being forced to marry same-sex couples.

Yeah!!! A woman of courage who has stood up for Christ even at great personal loss to herself. This is what most of us have to learn about our Catholic Faith . . . that sometimes following Christ means that we must make some sacrifice. In fact, it seems to me that she has a lesson to teach her neighbor, John Kerry. Kerry, it seems has been willing to betray every tenet of his Roman Catholic faith in order to become the candidate for President of the party of abortion (aka, the Democrat Party). But here is Linda, who is giving up her seat rather than commit a mortal sin by performing so-called "marriages" for same-sex couples.

Could you imagine if more Catholics had this type of courage to stand up for the Truth rather than just capitulate to the current breeze floating in society . . .
