Funny, you could've fooled me.
"It's obvious that John Kerry is just trying to get the religious crazies off his back, and who can blame him? We have issued an advisory to our supporters to just look at the record. John Kerry has consistently and without fail voted to allow more abortion and easier access to abortion than any other Senator except Barbara Boxer, and well, we all know it's pretty hard to outdo her record! She even gives out coupons for free abortions at planned parenthood to high school students visiting her office." --Katiely Miekalmein-Komph, Directof of NARBAL Pro-Abortion America
So, John Kerry wants us to know that he has deeply held religious beliefs that make him pro-life. He also wants us to know that he doesn't think any of those beliefs should be imposed on those who don't share his beliefs.
Umm, can someone help me here, because I once remember hearing John Kerry say that we should take care of the poor, that his church taught him that. Well, I certainly don't want him imposing his deeply held beliefs on the rest of America.
And while we're at it, I don't really care what his personal beliefs are. He can believe in Santa and the Tooth Fairy and Big Foot for all I care. What I want to know is what he will DO when in office, and if he will work to advance the abortion agenda and appoint pro-abortion judges, and veto pro-life legislation, then, well, I don't want to ELECT him. I don't care what he personally believes unless that personal belief is going to have an impact on his work. That being said, why is he sharing his "personal" beliefs anyway. If he's so convinced of the seperation of the Church and State, then maybe he should keep his big ol' lying pie hole shut.
Sheesh!
