Kathleen Falsani of the Chicago Sun-Times has a great column on MTV's new promo spots that dole out religious content to the young american consumers of all things pop. I'm not surprised, I figured it was a matter of time before MTV responded to the spiritualist tendencies of modern teenagers. These are kids who dress like Britney, talk like Christina, act like Madonna but want to live like Jessica. If you don't know who these names refer to, you're clearly too old to understand how the same channel that 5 years ago brought us "Undressed" is now moving to sell the Crucifix alongside the condom.

I think this is a joke. They do not promote religious values of any kind. They just want viewers. It is fake and phony...I do not even see this becoming a reality.
