Matthew Lickona, a young writer from California, has an excerpt from his book Swimming with Scapulars: True Confessions of a Young Catholic up over at Godspy.

I find it particularly interesting because this year for Lent I have tried to give up complaining.  It has been an interesting sacrifice.  I really enjoyed Matthew's style, and I look forward to ordering this book and hearing more from Mr. Lickona.
