David Griffith has a great article up at Godspy on Hunter S. Thompson, the author of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. It's been up a while but I never got around to reading it until today. I really enjoyed it, but I was even more impressed by the awesome title . . . "From Being to Nothingness" which captures the drama of a life like Thompson's perfectly.
I caught that too, and couldn't help but think of this blog, and wondered myself if he read it. heh.

Yes, I do read this blog, but the title wasn't my idea. Angelo Matera of Godspy suggested it and I thought it worked. Hope there's been no copyright infringement.
Keep up the good work.
And for those of you know who read my Flannery O'Connor/Abu Ghraib story eons ago at Godspy, that essay has become a book. The book has been picked up by Soft Skull Press and will be published in February of '06.
peace,
Dave Griffith
