This is the true story (true story) of 5 guys picked to live in a Monastery and have their lives taped to find out what happens when people stop being "nice" and start being holy. The Real World: Abbey of St. Benedict.
Really, this is amazing! I love these monks. They allow their lives to be interrupted and invaded in order to be a witness to these 5 men (and the world) by demonstrating that the Charism of St. Benedict still speaks to modern hearts.
One of the guys, an atheist pornographer, becomes a believer after his 40 day stint. Amazing!
Their conversions point to the evangelizing power of simply living the Gospel in all its fullness.

The sacrifices of the monks do make sense. I only feel sorry for them that their peaceful liturgical life being somehow interrupted.
